Motor Vehicle registrations must be done at the Town Office. At the time of registration/ re-registration you must provide the current mileage and proof of valid insurance.
New registrations will also require a title and a bill of sale. (Dealer sales will have a title application and an invoice showing the sales tax and title fee have already been paid).
Excise is based on the MSRP and MUST BE PAID IN THE TOWN IN WHICH YOU RESIDE. If you go to a Motor Vehicle Branch Office and do not have proof of excise payment, you will be sent back to your Town.
